It is such a wonderful experience to learn something new. Instead of fearing my sewing machine I am starting to look forward to sitting down and creating a new pillow. This pillow was a bit easier to make and reminds me of blooming spring flowers. The whole process has been very rewarding. I am entering into a world that I had no idea existed. Slowly discovering all the little things that go into making hand crafted items is just a hoot. I found this great fabric store in LA called http://www.diamondfoamandfabric.com/ It is filled with row after row of the most unique fabrics I have ever seen. The best part is that you can take samples of the fabric you are interested in, home. The fabrics are a bit on the pricey side so I will have to aspire to this place, but for now I still shop the bargain bins at good ole’ Joanne Fabrics.

At the end of the day Jan always had her margarita hour so it was then that John came over to me and said, “I am sorry, but I have had a really long day and just flew in from Alaska.
