Something I wrote today…

To Learn…Is To Live

There are no boundaries to the limitless situations that occur in life
Take the moments and let them encompass you one at a time
Do not get stuck in regret rather take what you can from experience

Remember only what is important and let the rest go
Make memories daily and write down the fantastic
Live in your life not outside of it

Close your ears to the sounds of negativity
Work in several directions until you find your compass
Strive to reach a goal and then try again

Let love ooze from your pores even if it is not from your heart
Move away from pain and find comfort in what makes you smile
Take words seriously, but laugh often enough to cry

Listen to your body and learn its language
To be whole is to be able to hear what is within
Keep track of the signs and move forward

See completely all around you and not narrowly
To grow is to have vision internally and externally
A life without purpose is closed

Find something that is relevant and make it yours
Water the ideas that grow in your brain
Do not root in one field because it may be fallow

Talk to God often and be thankful
There is nothing wrong with asking for help
When all else fails remember there is tomorrow

The Love story continues… The hazard of sleeping in random places is waking up and not remembering where you are. I had slept in a half a dozen places in the last two weeks so when I woke up on Joel’s couch, it took me a moment to remember where I was. Teddy had ended up on the floor facing me with his cute little perma-smile. Joel and I had worked hard over the last few weeks and this was the first morning we were able to sleep in. Read more»

The love story continues: I have a serious issue with my feet. I can’t stand them and don’t enjoy it when people look at my feet. To my horror, after Joel pulled John and I from the PGA event to join the crew, I started a conversation with one of the tour executives and while we were talking the executive looked down and said, “Wow, you must have some really cute feet, because you are so tall.” Immediately the entire crew, John, Jan and Joel all stopped talking to look at my feet. “OMG!” It was like standing naked in a spotlight in front of strangers. I wanted to find a way to hide them immediately, but no such luck. Read more»

Dream Pillow #1

Thank you for helping to support our dream.
This pillow was sold on March 4, 2009!

dream-pillow-1I finally did it! I made my first pillow. It took me four weeks of classes, multiple screw ups, and a new found appreciation for a labor of love. This pillow is a lot like love…Not perfect, a little rough around the edges, it took a little time to come together, but it is solid and ready to be appreciated.

The Love Story begins…Just like this pillow my life is not perfect and it is very rough around the edges.

However, I feel that life and God bring you exactly what you need when you need it and God brought me John at a very crucial point in my life. Read more»
